If you are storing grain for more than a short period, fumigation is strongly recommended. Even low levels of insects can multiply quickly and cause serious losses. Fumigation ensures your grain remains safe, market-ready, and compliant with UK food safety standards. It’s often more cost-effective to prevent infestations early than to deal with rejected or contaminated stock later.
Most of our grain fumigation treatments take around 7 days, but in cases of severe infestation, we may recommend up to 14 days. The exact duration also depends on some other factors such as temperature and storage conditions.
